So for the “For You” video, the lyrics are transformed into a dating show called “Future Love.” It looks like Viennie goes on a couple bad dates before finding love on a rooftop. My favorite part of the preview video is when Viennie has a mortified/scared look on her face in a particular dining scene. I think the contrast between her looking super classy and dressed up, and then the expression on her face makes the scene super funny.

I’m so happy that there are several different scenes with different locations and not to mention… different outfits and hair/makeup! I love looking at Viennie’s previous videos to see her different looks. If you haven’t checked out her vampire look in “Nightmare or Dream,” I totally recommend that you do!

It’s Sunday! It’s family time again. The house is so noisy with all my nephews and nieces shouting and playing around. Sunday is not complete without spending it with my sisters, brothers, nephews and nieces.

Part of our gathering every Sunday is listening to music. Mostly are songs that my nephews and nieces like most. We also get to watch them dance with the music and sometimes imitate the singer. It’s great to see the kids enjoying and having fun. And when my nephews and nieces are done listening to their favorite music, it’s my brothers’ turn to listen and sing-along with their favorite songs. Well, obviously most of the songs are from the 70s and 80′s. It feels good seeing them have fun like they were still teenagers.

I wish Sundays have longer days. Family time is the best. I am always looking forward to seeing them all again next Sunday. Being with my family is always my favorite moment of the week. I wish everyday was like Sunday, it would be a dream come true for me.

I want to give you two of my favorite to teach you how to sing better and particularly how to sing higher notes.

The first is this: start with staccato and move to legato. What that means is this. A little known fact is that you can sing higher notes when you sing staccato, which means short, quick bursts of notes rather than long and drawn out. Long and drawn out is legato. So, when doing your vocal exercises, start by doing a phrase, or round, with shorter, choppier notes and watch how high you can sing. Once you’ve done that a few times do the same phrase more drawn out. This will help you extend your range.

The second is simpler. Your posture has a great deal to do with how well you are or aren’t getting a complete breath. If you keep your chest up, you will be able to get a more complete breath and therefore sing with more energy and hit higher notes.
